New
Piping System Inspection at JOTC
Client:
Issa Haddadin & Partners Co. / Jordan Oil Terminals Company (JOTC)
As
part of the strategic expansion at the Amman Strategic Reserve Terminal for
Petroleum Products (ASTPP), Synergy served as the independent third-party
inspection body for the construction of a new piping network. This system was
designed to facilitate critical fuel service changes and optimize
loading/unloading operations for Jordan’s national energy reserves.
The
Technical Edge
Working
alongside Issa Haddadin & Partners, we ensured that the new infrastructure
met the high-security and safety standards required by the JOTC:
*
Third-Party NDT Oversight: We performed comprehensive Non-Destructive Testing
(NDT) to validate the integrity of new pipeline welds, ensuring they could
handle the high-volume transfer of petroleum products and LPG.
*
Compliance & Standards: Our team verified that all materials and
fabrication methods adhered to international oil and gas codes, providing an
independent layer of quality assurance from construction through to the
commissioning phase.
The
Result
Our
rigorous inspection process guaranteed that the new piping system was "fit
for service" without delay. By providing a clear audit trail of structural
soundness, Synergy helped ensure that JOTC’s facility remains a world-class
terminal, securing Jordan’s petroleum supply with reliable, leak-free
infrastructure.
